A Rock Star with a Heart of Gold!

In his free time between concerts, Dave Grohl continues to demonstrate his dedication to helping the homeless.

Known for his time as the drummer of Nirvana and now the frontman of Foo Fighters, Grohl recently spent 18 hours straight barbecuing meals for the homeless at Hope The Mission in Los Angeles.

Arriving just past midnight, Grohl paid for all the ingredients, including ribs, pork, brisket, cabbage, coleslaw, and beans. He even brought along a massive meat smoker on a trailer to cook everything to perfection.

After preparing the meals, he personally handed them out and spent time talking with the homeless individuals.

A post from feedthestreets_la highlighted Grohl’s remarkable efforts, noting how he and his team worked tirelessly through the night and stayed to help distribute the food.

His generosity has become a habit, as Grohl has also volunteered at other street kitchen charities, including in Australia, and even spent Super Bowl Sunday cooking for another homeless shelter in L.A.

Grohl’s actions are a powerful testament to his kindness, making him a true hero in the eyes of those he’s helped.
