In April 2022, Chantelle Broughton, a 29-year-old Englishwoman, welcomed twins named Azirah and Ayon. Initially, the twins appeared identical, but as they grew, distinct differences began to emerge.

Due to their mixed racial heritage, Chantelle and her husband’s children possess a varied genetic background. Chantelle’s paternal grandfather was Scottish with Jamaican roots, while her maternal grandfather was Nigerian. This multiracial lineage influenced the twins’ distinct physical traits.

Chantelle often receives inquiries about the twins’ differing appearances when they are out in public. Although they are identical twins, Azirah and Ayon have contrasting personalities: Azirah is calm and compliant, whereas Ayon is lively and spirited.
